Our staff works endlessly to keep everyone safe on the tubing hill which may explain why the tubing attendant was trying to get you and your son out of harm’s way for the next group of tubers. We’re sorry to hear that snow tubing was a bit more of a rush than you had initially anticipated. In regard to your food situation, though we’re glad to hear our staff was able to rectify the situation appropriately, we will forward this review over to our food and beverage management so they can address this. ![]() As a resort it is our goal to ensure that each of our guests has the best possible time that they can while they are here, and it looks like we fell short. We sincerely apologize for everything that you experienced while you were here. Thank you for taking the time to write to us about your expereince here. I guess she expected me to carry the snow tube, the boot and my 3 year old regardless of his emotional state, with his shoe off in the freezing cold (18°) rather than keep his foot dry by having him stay put inside the snow-tube! The fact that we were holding up the next batch of tubers was much more important than caring for my son. ![]() But then, while I was trying to get his boot back on, she was asking me to get out of the lane!!!!! In her defense, after I called her over to help me (because my son was inconsolable and wouldn’t let me leave him) she got the boot for us. I LITERALLY FELT LIKE SNOW TUBE ROADKILL! I was trying to calm him, and instead of being helpful one of the employees there tried to usher us out of the lane so that the next group of snow tubers could go down. He was crying hysterically because of the speed at which we had gone down (which I was NOT expecting) plus his boot. When we went down the hill, his boot flew off. Calling it snow tubing is a bit of a misconception because it was really more like the luge - rockhard ice. But today I paid $120 to go snow tubing with my three year old in the same tube. I totally get that skiing is an expensive hobby. Frankly, it’s terrifying.įurthermore, whoever is coming up with the pricing over there must be drunk. I can only imagine what must be going on in that kitchen. But I felt sick from the whole experience. My sons had pizza and french fries, some French fries were soggy and I just decided to NOT THINK about what might have made them that way!!!! Thankfully none of us got sick. This means that nobody is checking the quality of the food in that restaurant and they obviously have WAY below stand hard hygiene practices. For that salad to grow mold like that it must have been sitting out for about a week. However, I feel like this kind of oversight is completely unacceptable. The staff was very accommodating, refunded me and apologized. I wish I had taken a photo, but I brought it back so quickly that I didn’t have a chance. IT LITERALLY LOOKED LIKE A SCIENCE EXPERIMENT!!!!! (Imagine a Petri dish growing mold except it was cucumbers in an airtight plastic container.) ![]() Then I looked at the other cucumbers, and realized that all five of them were completely moldy. When I opened the plastic packaging, I noticed that one of the cucumbers had mold growing on the sides and underneath. Besides the fact that the food assortment was horrible, and mislabeled, MY FOOD WAS MOLDY! I opted to get a salad - the ONLY health-conscious option. My family skied at Camelback this weekend. Now if you get more staff like your Front Desk for all the other areas and get rid of some of those ridiculous fees for guest and comfy beds, better bathrooms… this place would be AMAZING□ No coffee maker! Many fees!!! Parking fee for guest?!!! Why?!!! So many things have to change to make this Resort GREAT, starting with staff! It’s a nice Resort and unfortunately we will not be returning. Beds were very hard! Food was good but expensive. Driving 3 hours only to encounter so many issues was disappointing and exhausting. You would think with all the money you are spending here, it would be one of the best experiences while you are making memories with your family! Especially if you’re surprising your son for his 10th Birthday! Double Digits is a BIG DEAL!!!!!! Mark the Manger was horrible and not helpful at all. (Kevin-Manager, Leah, Jenny, Anna, Tania and Brent-luggage) Everywhere else fell short! The worst staff was at the snow tubing area, only about 3 of them get a pass. Poor hospitality of staff! Only a handful that TRULY CARE and ENJOY their job! Front desk Staff was the BEST in the whole entire Resort.
